Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Fairline — the iOS app and the web app (together, “the App”) — operated by Elixir Innovations LTD (“we”, “us”). By using Fairline you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What Fairline is

Fairline is a research and information tool for sports betting markets. It shows prices from multiple venues side by side, calculates fair value, expected value (“+EV”) and arbitrage opportunities with venue fees priced in, and lets you record your own picks and compare them against closing lines.

What Fairline is not

This is the most important term in this document, so we will state it plainly. Fairline is not a sportsbook, a betting exchange, a broker, or a gambling operator.

  • We do not accept wagers of any kind.
  • We do not hold, handle, transmit or custody user funds.
  • We do not process gambling transactions and we do not settle bets.
  • We are not a party to any bet you place. Every bet is placed by you, in your own account, directly with a third-party venue.

Fairline may show a link that takes you out to a venue’s own site or app. That is a convenience, not an offer, an endorsement, or a recommendation. Your relationship with any venue — including eligibility, deposits, withdrawals, settlement and disputes — is between you and that venue, under their terms.

No betting or financial advice

Nothing in Fairline is betting advice, investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to place, avoid, or size any bet or position. The App presents data and calculations; the decisions are yours alone, and so are the outcomes. We are not your adviser, broker, or fiduciary, and we are not licensed or registered to provide advice.

Accuracy, staleness and estimates

  • Prices, lines and market data are sourced from third parties and are provided “as is”. They may be delayed, stale, incomplete, mispriced or simply wrong.
  • Fair value, EV, edge and arbitrage figures are estimates produced by models and assumptions that may not hold. They are not guarantees of profit, and a positive figure is not a promise of a positive outcome.
  • Variance is real. Even a correctly identified edge can lose over any given period, and an apparent arbitrage can be broken by a price move, a limit, a voided leg, or a venue’s own rules.
  • Always verify a price at the venue before acting on it. The price you see in Fairline may no longer be available, and the venue’s figure is the one that counts.

Your responsibilities

  • Age. You must be at least 21 years old to use Fairline.
  • Legality. Sports betting and prediction markets are regulated differently from place to place, and are prohibited in some. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply where you are, and for any tax arising from your own activity. We make no representation that Fairline, or any venue it shows, is lawful or available in your jurisdiction.
  • Your own betting. You are solely responsible for every bet you place, for the stakes you choose, for your account at each venue, and for complying with that venue’s terms — including any restriction on the use of external tools, models or automation.
  • Your account. You are responsible for your Fairline account and for any activity under it. Keep your credentials secure.

Responsible gambling

Bet only what you can afford to lose. If gambling stops being fun, call 1-800-GAMBLER or visit ncpgambling.org. 1-800-GAMBLER is a US helpline; outside the US, please look for the equivalent service where you live. If you have self-excluded from gambling, or are subject to any restriction on gambling, you should not use Fairline.

Acceptable use

Much of the data in Fairline comes from third-party feeds that are subject to their own terms, and assembling it is the bulk of what you are paying for. You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk-export or systematically extract prices, lines, calculations or any other data from the App, whether manually or by automated means;
  • resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish or otherwise make that data available to anyone else, or use it to build or train a competing product or service;
  • access the App other than through the interfaces we provide, or use any undocumented or private API;
  • share, resell or transfer your account or subscription, or use one subscription to serve multiple people;
  • disrupt, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the App, or attempt to circumvent any limit, paywall or security control.

Subscriptions and billing

Fairline offers one auto-renewing subscription, Pro, at $19.99 per month or $199 per year, including a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by region and by store. How you are billed depends on where you subscribed.

Subscriptions bought on iOS (Apple)

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you started with one.
  • The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings. We cannot cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf, and deleting the app does not cancel it.
  • Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where the store’s rules so provide.

Subscriptions bought on the web (Stripe)

  • Payment is taken by Stripe using the payment method you provide, at purchase or at the end of the free trial.
  • The subscription automatically renews each month or year until you cancel.
  • You can manage or cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal linked from your account. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds

Refunds for subscriptions bought on iOS are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies — we cannot issue them. For subscriptions bought on the web, contact us at admin@elixirapps.xyz; outside any statutory right you have to a refund, refunds are at our discretion. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

Availability and changes to the service

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Fairline — including the markets, venues or data sources it covers — at any time. Third-party data feeds can change their terms, their coverage, or their availability without notice to us, and coverage may change accordingly.

Disclaimers

The App, the data in it, and every figure it produces are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or that using it will be profitable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for any gambling losses, lost bets, lost profits, missed opportunities, voided or restricted venue accounts, arising from or connected with your use of the App or your reliance on any price, calculation or figure in it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms — in particular the acceptable-use and age terms above — or where we are required to by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you the benefit of your own jurisdiction’s rules.

Apple App Store

The following additional terms apply because you downloaded Fairline from the Apple App Store. To the extent they conflict with anything above, these terms control for the App Store version of the App.

  • These Terms are between you and us only. This agreement is concluded between you and Elixir Innovations LTD only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Fairline and its content.
  • Licence. The licence granted to you for Fairline is a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Fairline. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services.
  • Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If Fairline fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • Claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims you or a third party may have relating to Fairline or your use of it — including product-liability claims, any claim that the App fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar laws.
  • Intellectual property. If a third party claims that Fairline or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we (not Apple) will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
  • Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo (or designated as “terrorist-supporting”), and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using Fairline — including the terms of any betting venue you reach from the App.
  • Third-party beneficiary. You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that Apple has the right to enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
