Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Elixir Innovations LTD (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Fairline iOS app and web app (together, “the App”). By using Fairline you agree to this policy.

What Fairline is

Fairline is a research and information tool for sports betting markets. It shows prices from multiple venues side by side, calculates fair value, expected value (“+EV”) and arbitrage with venue fees priced in, and lets you track your own picks against closing lines.

Fairline is not a sportsbook or betting exchange. We do not accept wagers, we do not hold or handle user funds, and we do not process gambling transactions. Any bet you place is placed by you, in your own account, at a third-party venue. That matters for privacy too: we never see your venue accounts, your balances, or the bets you actually place.

Information we collect

  • Account information — when you create an account you give us your email address. Accounts and sign-in are handled by our authentication provider, Supabase; passwords are handled by them and we never see them.
  • Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription and which platform billed it. We do not receive or store your payment-card details; those are handled by Stripe or Apple.
  • Usage and diagnostic data — basic technical information needed to operate the App (e.g. app version, error logs).

What stays on your device

Some of the most sensitive things you can enter into Fairline never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers:

  • Your bankroll — the figure you enter for stake sizing.
  • Your Kelly fraction — the staking preference used in the calculations.
  • Your odds format — whether prices are shown as American, decimal or implied probability.
  • Your US state — used only to shape an outbound betslip link, as described below.
  • Your tracked picks — the picks you save and the prices you record against them. Both apps keep these in local storage on the device, so they are not uploaded, not readable by us, and not synced between your phone and the web.

We also do not connect to your accounts at betting venues. We do not receive your venue logins, your balances there, or your betting history with them.

How we use your information

  • To provide the core service: showing you prices, fair value and EV calculations.
  • To keep your subscription and entitlement in sync across the app and the web.
  • To manage your account and authenticate you.
  • To provide and verify your subscription and its features.
  • To maintain, secure, and improve the App.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We share data only with the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf to run the App.

Where the prices come from

Fairline reads market prices, schedules, game state and player data from third-party sources, including Kalshi, Polymarket, The Odds API, MLB StatsAPI and ESPN. We request that data on our own behalf, not yours — we do not send them your name, email address, account, or the picks you track.

Fairline may show a link that takes you out to a venue so you can place a bet yourself. Following that link leaves Fairline: from that point the venue’s own privacy policy and terms apply, not ours. Where such a link needs your US state to build the right betslip, the state you selected is included in the link you tap — it is not sent to us and is not stored on our servers.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to operate Fairline. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase — accounts, authentication and database.
  • Stripe — subscription payments and billing on the web.
  • RevenueCat — subscription status and entitlement management on iOS.
  • Apple — In-App Purchase payments for subscriptions bought on iOS.
  • Vercel — hosting for our web app and website.

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EU (e.g. in the United States) under appropriate safeguards.

Data retention

We keep your account information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your account and the data linked to it are permanently deleted, apart from the limited records described on that page. Your tracked picks are not part of that deletion because they were never on our servers — they live on your device, and they go when you delete the app or clear its data.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and data directly in the App — see Delete Your Account & Data — or contact us at the email below for any other request.

Age restriction

Fairline is intended only for people aged 21 or over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under that age has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Responsible gambling

Fairline is a research tool, not an inducement to bet. If gambling stops being fun, call 1-800-GAMBLER or visit ncpgambling.org. 1-800-GAMBLER is a US helpline; outside the US, please look for the equivalent service where you live.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, per-user data isolation) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
